Why I Chose this Product?

Hi, and thank you for stopping by to read my site. I’m Graham and I’ve been into living a healthy lifestyle and watching what I eat and put into my body since I was a teenager. This product is important to me because I’ve had asthma since I was in my a kid so finding out that Reishi mushrooms help with respiratory problems made me want to learn more about it. Now that I’m in my 30’s I am more careful and watch what I eat. Part of my diet includes supplements. As I traveled around the world, I’ve been exposed to different cultures and introduced to new things including different diets. As a result of my travel, my tastes have expanded as well. Reishi mushrooms piqued my interest when I was traveling in Asia and I’ve been interested in learning more and experimenting more with this ancient “superfood.”

Who is this Product For?

If you find yourself suffering from asthma like me, then this product should benefit you. I find that taking it twice a day helps with my breathing and calms me down. This ultimately helps me deal with my asthma and gets me through the days.

Friends of mine are also taking it including a good buddy who’s been dealing with high blood pressure since college. His family includes a history of hypertension and so he’s been trying to find supplements that will help lower his blood pressure instead of taking medication, although he does take it.

If you find yourself struggling with fatigue and not getting good sleep then I believe Mehdi Reishi’s Spore Powder can help you with that. According to research, the ingredients in Reishi mushrooms such as triterpenes aid with insomnia. This product claims to contain the highest concentration of triterpenes because of the spores. By taking this product you will also improve the blood flow and circulation to all your organs and increase the supply of oxygen. This eventually leads to the prevention of fatigue.

Product Features

This product is my go-to drink mix when my day starts.  I usually mix it in my coffee in the morning and have it with tea at night before I go to bed.   I have other reviews on this blog which includes Reishi mushroom coffee, but when I use this product I like to mix it with just my favorite regular cup of Joe that I make using my Keurig coffee maker, or a nice flavored tea.  Reishi mushrooms have a naturally bitter taste so it’s better if you mix it with some other concoction although some people, I usually don’t, mix it with water.  I find it leaves an aftertaste that I don’t want when I’ve tried mixing it with just plain water.  But it does mix well and you usually don’t have to keep stirring the drink to dissolve it completely.  What I like about this product is that it is available in most online stores such as Amazon.  Although the price is a little high, I believe that the value you get is more than worth it.  However, I list below some alternatives if you don’t want to pay the higher price.

Reviews of Alternative Reishi Mushroom Powders Online

I know that the price seems a little steep so if you are looking for a similar product that provides the same or substantially the same benefits but at a lower price here are three alternatives. I have not tried these yet but they seem to provide some if not all of the benefits as Mehdi’s Ultimate Reishi Spore Powder.  If you have tried any of these, I welcome any comments below and let me know what you think.  Thanks.

1. Review Samsara Herbs Reishi Extract Powder Online

This product is less expensive and also provides more volume. According to the label, Reishi Extract Powder has 40% Polysaccharides (Beta-Glucans) which is the strongest extract of the Reishi mushrooms. Additionally, it says it is grounded to an 80 mesh powder to make it absorb and mix better. Finally, the product is grown on Duanwood and Non-GMO, suggesting it is grown and processed without chemicals or pesticides. Reishi mushrooms grow in the mountains on wood known as Duanmu (or Duanwood), which translates into “authentic or preferred wood.”

2. Review Lost Empire Herbs Reishi Mushroom Extract Powder Online

More expensive than Samsara’s Reishi Powder, Lose Empire’s Reishi Mushroom Extract Powder is also grown on wood to produce triterpenes. According to the manufacturer, the price and volume offered by the product are based on the quality and the fact that they use an extraction ratio of 16:1.

3. Review Terrasoul Superfoods Organic Reishi Mushroom Powder Online

This last product provides the most volume and the lowest cost of the three alternatives. The extraction ratio is stated as 4:1 and contains a minimum of 20% polysaccharides. This is also grown on hardwood logs and is recommended for mixing with tea, sweetened tonics, coffee, and chocolate drinks because of the bitter taste inherent in Reishi Mushrooms. Each serving size of 1 teaspoon contains 0% total fat and only 11 calories.

Conclusion

Overall, Mehdi’s Reishi Mushroom Spore Powder is a good choice when deciding to buy your first Reishi mushroom supplement product. You can mix it with another drink and it won’t overpower or take away from the drinks taste or smell. I prefer having it with coffee as a great pick-me-up in the morning to get me ready to face the day’s challenges. With its price, volume, mixability factors being what I want and need, I think this product will benefit me as I enter my late 30’s and start moving into middle-age territory.
